About the Role: Java Software Engineer, Customer Systems We're on the hunt for a seasoned Java Developer to join our Client Systems team. As a key player in this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across Blithequark, working closely with business leaders and associates to implement cutting-edge solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and support large-scale Java applications, focusing on customer systems and enterprise-level solutions. Collaborate with business stakeholders, application owners, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions. Lead the development of scalable, secure, and efficient software systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure. Architect and implement microservices-based systems, RESTful APIs, and data access layers. Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning principles, applying them to large-scale data systems. Ensure the security and reliability of distributed applications, adhering to industry best practices. Drive and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow. Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to coding standards. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, optimizing system performance and scalability. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. At least 2 years of experience in designing and developing large-scale enterprise-level backend solutions using Java. Proficiency in Java and Java-based project development, including design, development, and support. Strong experience with dynamic programming, multi-threading, REST, data holding organizations, DB design, and data access progressions. Extensive hands-on experience with artificial intelligence and building deals with large-scale data systems. Experience with designing, developing, and deploying scalable REST-based stateless APIs/web services for web applications and mobile clients. Knowledge of architecting and describing Application layers in SOA/Microservices landscapes. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a large enterprise with a global environment, across different time zones and geographies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to perform multiple tasks and support unique, synchronous endeavors. Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed expectations. Attention to detail and ability to work in a loosely coordinated organization. Familiarity with Responsive Java applications and experience with driving and training modelers.
