Our Consumer Technology experience team is at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer experiences, and we're looking for a talented Lead Product Development Engineer to support the transformation of our industry-standard order and delivery management systems. As a Lead Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting scalable and reusable software systems, including 3-tier and cloud-based systems. You will work closely with U.S.-based Product Management, Business Systems, and Operations teams throughout the system development life cycles, providing technical leadership and guidance to build, motivate, and mentor team members. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and troubleshoot scalable and reusable software systems, including 3-tier and cloud-based systems Actively support configuration management of code and software Provide detailed documentation of systems and features Offer technical leadership to build, motivate, guide, scale, and mentor team members, including performance management coaching Actively participate in coding exercises and peer code reviews as part of the development life cycles and change management Participate in daily stand-up meetings and contribute to software lifecycle, security patching, and production support Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Extensive full stack engineering experience, with an emphasis on back-end infrastructure programming (minimum 5-7+ years) Strong software architecture skills and experience with Linux/Unix system programming and open-source frameworks (e.g., gcc/C) Object-oriented programming experience (e.g., C++, Java, etc.) Experience with code reviews and analyzers, network protocol and tools (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP(S), IPv4, etc.), and Web API experience and architectural styles (e.g., REST) Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages, modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React), and test automation development (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, etc.) Experience with configuration management (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, etc.) and database concepts, including relational, NoSQL, PL/SQL, and Java stored procedures Knowledge of cloud-based technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, etc.), container technologies (e.g., Docker, etc.), and software methodologies (waterfall, scrum, etc.) Proficiency in Oracle, MongoDB, and Postgres database technologies, as well as ETL and Data Replication knowledge (e.g., Datastage, Synapse, Golden Gate software) Preferred Qualifications Ideally, you will have: Previous experience in a rapid-growth start-up enterprise A strong understanding of software methodologies and the ability to balance technical expertise and acumen Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits As a Lead Product Development Engineer at AT&T, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects, developing innovative solutions that transform the way people live and work. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $143,800.00-$215,800.00 USD Annual, depending on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
