About the Role The Associated Media group at blithequark is seeking a self-motivated Computer programmer to ensure a seamless Airplay Experience across the Mac Ecosystem. As part of the Sound Media Advances Group (AMT), this team provides the sound and media foundation across blithequark's innovative products, including iPhone, iPad, Macintosh, tv, HomePod, and the AirPod/Beats line of products. We are looking for a skilled C/C++/Python designer to join our team and help develop the future of our products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating, coding, and delivering exceptional media experiences to our customers. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the design, development, and commercialization of cutting-edge Airplay features Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver start-to-finish Airplay features that enhance the customer experience Develop and maintain the Airplay software stack that runs on blithequark products and third-party products Participate in programming development, bug fixing, and unit testing for a wide range of blithequark products Utilize creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills to resolve complex technical issues Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience Strong coding, unit testing, and debugging skills in C/C++/Python Experience with cell phones, media players, smart televisions, or set-top boxes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with programming development in consumer media applications and platforms Knowledge of API design and maintenance Background in building services that involve modern networking protocols and concepts Experience in application development for Linux-based products Familiarity with Node.js-based applications and service debugging Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
