We're committed to delivering robust products that effectively integrate into the arenaflex Fulfillment network. **About the Role** As a Virtual & Simulation Testing Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing virtual platforms to test and verify solutions through simulations and emulations with a high degree of fidelity. You'll partner with Product Teams to drive high-quality product delivery, synchronize virtual and physical tests with the QA Manual Testing and Requirements Team, and ensure new Solutions meet the requirements of internal Customers (Operations, Maintenance, Process, Ops Engineering, etc.). **Key Responsibilities** * Develops, implements, simulations, and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing to virtually validate end-to-end solutions with real-life software * Virtually ensures that products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training & learning, deployment, process- and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integration, service, and support prior to delivery * Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products * Communicates quality standards and parameters to the product team, including hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams * Coordinates simulations and testing processes * Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues * Connects with internal customers (Operations, RME, ACES, PE, OpsEng, WWDE, etc.), reviews client, customer, and user feedback * Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree (BS) * 5+ years proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams with modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance domain expertise * Proven experience in fulfillment systems with storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment * Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics, and high-speed manufacturing * Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, operations, and management * Project managing skills to start projects and finish projects successfully **Work Environment and Company Culture** arenaflex is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
