Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Recovery Room team, providing high-quality, patient-centered care to patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a Registered Nurse in our Recovery Room, you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions. Key Responsibilities Utilize the ANA Nursing Process (2010) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health and/or situation, analyzing assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues. Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient's needs, developing a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes. Implement the identified plan, ensuring patient progression along the plan, while coordinating care delivery and employing strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes, while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions. Follow the ANA Standards of Professional Performance (2010), systematically enhancing the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, attaining knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice, and evaluating one's own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines. Proficiently use applicable technology and software to support and document nursing activities and patient care, while continuously seeking out opportunities to improve the quality of patient care delivery through innovative and creative problem solving. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications: Education: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) - Within 60 days of hire or transfer; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing. Experience: 5+ years of Registered Nurse experience (preferred).
