Key Responsibilities Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner Utilize systems and technology to complete account management tasks, including updating customer information and processing transactions Recognize sales opportunities and apply sales skills to upgrade products and services, meeting or exceeding sales targets Explain and position products and processes with customers, highlighting features and benefits Appropriately escalate customer dissatisfaction to the managerial team, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction Ensure first call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling, minimizing the need for follow-up calls Candidate Qualifications Essential Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent required Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute) Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Windows operating system Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues, resolving problems in a timely and professional manner An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation Must be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious) Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage in a fast-paced environment Strong team orientation and customer focus, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service experience, preferably in a contact center environment Experience with sales and upselling products and services Knowledge of industry-specific products and services Certifications or training in customer service, sales, or related fields Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues. You will also need to be highly organized, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
