As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the Adversarial Abuse group in identifying and eliminating malicious actors attempting account takeovers, spam, and other forms of abuse, as well as the Business Investigation group in producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries worldwide. We are a global organization with a diverse team of talented individuals who are passionate about using technology to drive positive change. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead the Adversarial Abuse group in identifying and eliminating malicious actors attempting account takeovers, spam, and other forms of abuse * Oversee the Business Investigation group in producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries worldwide * Collaborate with the Strategy Development team to create approaches using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior * Develop and implement effective and efficient operational execution (e.g., quality, service levels) in a global team working 24×7 * Engage, retain, develop, and foster exceptional talent * Manage accelerations with quick turnaround times required to circle back, provide data and content-driven insights, and implement solutions while building relationships with key cross-functional partners to launch new products and approaches that effectively prevent adversarial abuse **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics) * Four years of experience in a related field, or equivalent common sense experience * Two years of experience working with risk management, abuse fighting at scale, and building/conveying analytical experiences * Two years of experience working with design teams that form data foundation and ML models * Two years of experience driving teams with the ability to work non-standard workweeks as accelerations require * Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., research, design, data science) is highly desirable * Two years of experience with investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection * Experience or demonstrated interest in adversarial abuse activities * Knowledge of SQL/R/Matlab is highly desirable * Exceptional influencing and leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners * Excellent business judgment, critical and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action with the ability to work in a rapidly changing industry and manage ambiguity while minimizing uncertainty through quantitative insights **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working with generative AI and other emerging technologies * Familiarity with YouTube's platform and ecosystem * Experience working in a global team with diverse stakeholders * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines **Work Environment and Culture:** arenaflex is committed to creating a work environment that is inclusive, diverse, and supportive of all employees.
