Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development of our cloud infrastructure and high-performance computing solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications, as well as leading and mentoring a team of engineers to achieve project goals and objectives. Key Responsibilities Perform full stack development for HPC and ML performance on arenaflex's cloud platform, including kernel optimization, userspace communication libraries (e.g., MPI library, libfabric, NCCL), and customer HPC and ML applications Develop HPC and ML solutions on arenaflex's cloud platform Set technical direction and boundaries for a team of engineers Manage project needs, deadlines, and expectations Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software solutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field At least 3 years of experience with software development, including experience with data structures and algorithms At least 3 years of experience with testing and deploying software products, including experience with software design and architecture At least 3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience with C++, device drivers, Linux kernel, and Remote Direct Memory Access Experience with Linux device drivers, networking stack, and operating system tuning and packaging Experience with HPC and ML communications, including MPI, collective communication libraries, libfabric, and attachment programming Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Java, or Python Experience with cloud computing platforms, including arenaflex's cloud platform Knowledge of data structures and algorithms, including experience with optimization techniques Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
