About Our Team Our team collaborates with Walmart International, which has over 5,900 retail units operating outside of America under 55 banners in 26 countries, including Africa, Argentina, Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Japan, and Mexico, to name a few. We're growing, and we're looking for a motivated Software Engineer who can play a crucial role in the implementation of multi-tenant, highly available, and omnichannel transactional offerings for our global customers, both e-commerce and store. Key Responsibilities Work with products to understand requirements, create low-level designs, and implement them, ensuring alignment with the team's testing approach. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that low-level designs meet their requirements and integrate seamlessly with existing systems. Embrace and contribute to our team's Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Shift Left testing approach, focusing on high-quality code and rapid delivery. Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and well-documented code, leveraging expertise in software engineering and related areas. Debug complex code issues, integrate new functionalities, and ensure that new and existing use cases operate as expected. Provide sufficient use cases for client functionalities, ensuring comprehensive coverage and validation. What You Bring to the Table Technical Expertise: Ability to understand enterprise requirements, convert them into working low-level designs, and implement them with proper testing. Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to debug complex code and integrate new functionalities while ensuring new and existing use cases operate as expected. Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and seamless integration. Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and testing approaches. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related area. 2+ years of experience in software engineering or a related field, with a strong background in developing scalable and efficient software solutions. Preferred Qualifications Experience with TDD and Shift Left testing approaches. Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and omnichannel transactional systems. Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
