Job Summary As a Remote Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry processes. You'll be responsible for transferring confidential data from paper and electronic formats into our billing software, verifying data, and generating reports. Key Responsibilities Transfer confidential data from paper and/or electronic (typed) formats into billing software (Timeslips) using a keyboard Type in data provided directly from staff Verify data by comparison/generating reports Sort and organize paperwork (electronic and hard copy) following data entry Maintain data accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output Meet productivity and efficiency standards, with a focus on quality and timeliness Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless data entry processes Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Prior work experience in data entry (or related field) is preferred Typing proficiency, with a preferred level of at least 45 wpm accuracy, and no errors Basic understanding of internal processes and terminology (medical, legal, or insurance claims office experience is an asset) Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks Excellent communication and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality Preferred Qualifications Work experience in a medical, legal, or insurance claims office Familiarity with billing software (Timeslips) or similar systems Experience working in a remote or virtual environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues What We Offer At blithequark, we're committed to providing a comprehensive benefits package that supports our team members' well-being and success.
