You will work closely with our crew to identify workflow inefficiencies, pain points, and troubles in our development process, and collaborate to generate candidate solutions, weigh tradeoffs, and implement the selected answer. You will also be accountable for assisting, developing, and preserving blithequark's proprietary engine-specific and custom gear, which we use daily. **Key Responsibilities** * Proactively identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in our development process across all disciplines * Preserve, extend, and aid our present development gear * Build and guide custom asset pipelines * Grow blithequark's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures * Collaborate with our crew to generate candidate solutions, weigh tradeoffs, and implement the selected answer * Assist in the adoption of solutions by the team * Develop and maintain custom standalone gear * Grow gear that can be utilized by multiple game development disciplines **Essential Qualifications** * A strong passion for empowering others to excel in their roles * Experience with the overall device lifecycle, including identifying issues, comparing capacity answers, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness * Enjoy working with custom standalone gear * Enjoy growing gear that can be utilized by multiple game development disciplines * Proficiency in C#, C++, Python, JavaScript, and Net Tech * Ability to work efficiently in a self-directed environment **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with custom game engines, including Unreal or Unity * Familiarity with JavaScript and Net Tech * Experience with required utility materials * Resume outlining applicable experience **Skills and Competencies** * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Strong passion for innovation and continuous learning **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
