Job Summary As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Delta Airlines, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications on AWS. You'll work collaboratively with our development team to ensure that all packages are optimized for performance and scalability. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain web applications on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront Implement scalable and fault-tolerant systems on AWS, ensuring high performance and reliability Collaborate with the development team to optimize packages for performance and scalability Troubleshoot and debug web applications and infrastructure issues Stay current with the latest advancements in AWS and web development technologies Develop Proof-of-Concept and MVP tasks to validate new architectures and solutions Analyze user requirements to derive software layout and performance requirements Debug existing software and correct defects Provide guidelines for enhancing documentation and software development process standards Design and code new software programs or alter existing software programs to add new features Write code that meets specifications, developing software packages and tools Complete programming and perform testing and debugging packages Develop software packages and tools using Agile development methodologies Essential Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field Strong experience with web development and web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Django Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-based infrastructure Understanding of database systems and SQL Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-moving and agile environment Preferred Qualifications Airline industry knowledge is a plus Experience working in an airline technology environment is preferred Highly motivated and eager to work in a fast-moving organization Experience with agile development and common releases is a plus Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Delta Airlines, we're committed to employee development and growth.
