About the Role We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at Delta Airlines. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying web and cloud-based applications that meet the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy web and cloud-based applications using a range of technologies, including Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and AWS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure that applications meet business requirements and customer needs. Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure that applications are stable, secure, and performant. Work with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications in production. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our applications and processes. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including technical and non-technical teams, to ensure that applications meet business requirements and customer needs. Essential Qualifications 0-2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud-based applications. Formal education in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including design, development, testing, and deployment. Knowledge of relevant technologies, including Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and AWS. Experience with source control and version control systems, such as Git. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions. Preferred Qualifications Four-year degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field. Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban. Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, with the ability to design and develop secure applications.
