About the Role As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Delta Airlines, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our web and cloud-based applications. Key Responsibilities Lead the development of web and cloud-based applications using a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to ensure that software solutions meet business requirements and user needs. Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient software architectures that meet the evolving needs of our business. Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and coding standards. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure that software solutions meet quality and reliability standards. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and industry developments, and apply this knowledge to improve our software solutions. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including technical and non-technical team members, to ensure that software solutions meet business requirements and user needs. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in Full Stack software development, with a strong background in web and cloud-based applications. Proficiency in a variety of programming languages, including JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Java or Python. Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular, and back-end frameworks such as Node.js or Django. Knowledge of cloud-based platforms, including AWS or Azure. Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and development methodologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). Knowledge of agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban. Experience with cloud-based databases, including NoSQL or relational databases. Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including authentication and authorization. Experience with testing frameworks and tools, including unit testing and integration testing.
