Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Staff Software Engineer to join our team, focusing on cloud infrastructure optimization and HPC development. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software solutions that enable our clients to leverage the full potential of our cloud platform. Key Responsibilities Perform full stack optimization for HPC and ML performance on arenaflex's cloud platform, including kernel optimization, userspace communication libraries (e.g., MPI library, libfabric, NCCL), and client HPC and ML applications Develop HPC and ML solutions on arenaflex's cloud platform, leveraging your expertise in distributed systems, networking, and operating system tuning Provide technical leadership and direction for a team of developers, guiding them in the design and development of scalable, efficient, and reliable software solutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research, product, and sales, to identify and prioritize project requirements, deadlines, and expectations Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field At least 2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on HPC, ML, or distributed systems Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, or Java Experience with Linux, including device drivers, networking stack, and operating system tuning Knowledge of HPC and ML communications, including MPI, aggregate communication libraries, libfabric, and attachment programming Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: A Graduate degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field Experience with cloud computing platforms, including arenaflex's cloud platform Knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and serverless computing Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Technical expertise : A deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns Problem-solving skills : The ability to analyze complex problems, identify key issues, and develop creative solutions Collaboration and communication : Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders Leadership and mentorship : The ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, helping them to grow and develop their skills Adaptability and flexibility : A willingness to adapt to changing project requirements, deadlines, and expectations, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
