As a User Support Specialist on our high-impact team, you'll play a vital role in supporting our growing user base with expertise and efficiency, ensuring that our creators can focus on what matters most – creating exceptional content. **About the Role** We're seeking an experienced and passionate User Support Specialist to join our fully remote team, working a flexible Tuesday-Saturday schedule. As a key member of our Support team, you'll provide friendly, expert support to blithequark creators and their subscribers via email and live chat, collaborating closely with colleagues across the company to solve user concerns effectively and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic startup environment, where you'll have the chance to make a real impact and contribute to the growth and success of our platform. **Responsibilities** As a User Support Specialist, your day-to-day will consist of: * Providing live chat coverage for up to (but no more than) 50% of your time (or 4 hours per shift) * Attending daily team meetings and contributing to team operations (up to 20% of your time) * Remaining time will be spent providing support via email * Collaborating closely with Support team and other colleagues across the company to solve user concerns effectively and efficiently * Demonstrating urgency and discernment when escalating user issues and feedback to Engineering, Product, and other teams * Being a frequent user of the blithequark app and staying informed about product and company updates **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide expert support to blithequark creators and their subscribers via email and live chat * Collaborate with Support team and other colleagues to solve user concerns effectively and efficiently * Escalate user issues and feedback to Engineering, Product, and other teams as needed * Stay up-to-date with product and company updates to provide informed support * Participate in daily team meetings and contribute to team operations **Requirements** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * 2+ years of experience working with Support, Engineering, and/or Product teams, including experience with live channels * Excellent communication skills, both in speech and writing * Comfort with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced startup environment * Ability to provide solutions for a wide variety of technical support challenges * Alignment with blithequark's mission to build a new economic engine for culture and experience as a blithequark subscriber (experience as a creator is a plus!) * Zendesk and Stripe experience is a plus * Direct experience with coding languages (JavaScript and HTML) and third-party APIs (Stripe) is a plus **Essential Qualifications:** * 2+ years of experience in a Support, Engineering, or Product role * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment * Experience with live channels and technical support challenges * Alignment with blithequark's mission and values **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with Zendesk and Stripe * Direct experience with coding languages (JavaScript and HTML) and third-party APIs (Stripe) * Experience as a blithequark creator or subscriber **Skills and Competencies:** * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment * Experience with live channels and technical support challenges * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills * Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the company * Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
