Job Summary As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, performing data entry tasks, and supporting our pharmacy operations. You will work in a fast-paced, remote environment, utilizing our cutting-edge technology and systems to deliver high-quality services to our patients and customers. Your primary responsibilities will include: Performing patient enrollment and information section tasks, in accordance with state and government guidelines Utilizing Walgreens' prescription data entry methodology and guidelines to process new patient enrollments and enter data into our systems Handling patient prescription requests, within HIPAA guidelines, and entering top-off orders for processing Investigating and resolving missing prescription data, and deciphering clinical abbreviations (SIG codes) Resolving data entry-related exceptions and outliers Providing support to pharmacists, both in-office and in other locations Identifying and communicating issues to senior-level staff as needed Key Responsibilities Patient Care and Support Handling inbound calls, visits, and messages from patients, and making outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis Resolving third-party outliers by assessing, gathering information, making prescriptions, and resubmitting for processing as indicated by individual arrangement requirements Communicating with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service Data Entry and Administrative Tasks Utilizing Walgreens' systems and technology to perform data entry tasks, including entering patient and prescription information Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Performing other administrative tasks as needed to support pharmacy operations Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Basic computer skills, including ability to start and close programs, use a mouse, and access data online Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing files) Excellent written and verbal communication skills 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a state-recognized certification or licensure Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, organizing files) Fluency in Spanish and English What We Offer As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a range of benefits and opportunities, including: Competitive hourly rate ($25-$35/hour) Full-time employment opportunity with opportunities for career growth and advancement Comprehensive training and support to ensure success in your role Opportunities for professional development and continuing education Recognition and reward programs for outstanding performance Access to our employee assistance program and other resources to support work-life balance Our Culture and Values At Walgreens, we are committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
