Key Responsibilities: Provide phone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug treatment, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Coordinate and handle new patient drug orders and reorders, including verifying and refreshing benefits, entering new or reorder medications into the pharmacy data system, and communicating copay amounts. Collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to monitor, identify, resolve, and concede orders with records of sales or clinical issues. Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners, ensuring timely processing of specialty drugs and meeting financial and clinical expectations. Maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks as required. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Active IL Pharmacy Technician License or willingness to apply for an IL Pharmacy Technician License. At least one year of experience in a customer care role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via telephone. At least one year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications. At least one year of PC keyboarding experience, with strong typing skills and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and clinical terminology. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex systems and processes.
