As an Engagement Manager - Advanced Analytics, you will play a lead role in projects, applying your expertise to drive business outcomes and coach junior colleagues. You will work closely with business and technology partners across the organization to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and communicate insights. Key Responsibilities Apply data analysis, data mining, data transformation, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to understand and solve business problems Collaborate with analysis, technology, and business colleagues across the enterprise to identify opportunities and deliver solutions Maintain relationships with groups outside of AI and communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders Lead or support status updates and regular communication to key partners at various levels of United Airlines management Develop and deliver presentations to United Airlines leadership and external partners Lead analytics projects by defining solutions, applying project management techniques, and communicating with partners Assist with talent acquisition, mentor junior colleagues, and develop training content Requirements Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Aviation Management, Data Systems) 3+ years of experience in a scientific role (analysis, data science, data visualization, or other relevant quantitative fields) Ability to work with large datasets and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python) Strong data storytelling skills, with experience using reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire, Tableau, Microsoft BI) Understanding of AI or machine learning tools and techniques Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for data analysis and its applications Ability to prioritize multiple projects and drives simultaneously Valid work authorization in the US (no sponsorship needed) Preferred Qualifications Postgraduate education in Analytics or Data Science Experience with statistical tools (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS) Strong communication and presentation skills What We Offer As an Engagement Manager - Advanced Analytics at United Airlines, you can expect: A competitive salary of $27/hour A comprehensive benefits package A flexible work-from-home arrangement Opportunities for career growth and professional development A dynamic and inclusive work environment How to Apply If you are a motivated and experienced analytics professional looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
