Job Summary We are looking for a full-time Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Maryland residents seeking health insurance coverage. You will work in a remote call center environment, answering inbound phone calls, updating customer and account information, and responding to general customer inquiries. Key Responsibilities • Answer inbound phone calls to provide information and assistance regarding health care insurance options to Maryland residents. • Update customer and account information as needed, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions. • Respond to general customer inquiries, and provide solutions to customer problems in a timely and professional manner. • Utilize multiple database applications as resources to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers. • Be open to feedback and coaching, and strive to meet performance metrics for continued professional growth opportunities. • Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve team goals and objectives. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must have: • A high school diploma or equivalent; college attendance or degree is preferred. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues. • At least 1 year of experience in a call center environment, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service. • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or a related field, with knowledge of health insurance coverage and terminology. • Computer proficiency, with experience using multiple database applications and software systems. • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and interact well with customers and colleagues. • The ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. • Flexibility and reliability, with a willingness to work occasional overtime as needed. • The ability to pass required skill and knowledge assessment tests. Preferred Qualifications We prefer candidates who have: • Experience working in a remote or virtual call center environment. • Knowledge of health insurance coverage and terminology. • Experience using software applications such as Windows 10, MAC OS 10.14 (Mojave) or higher.
