Job Overview In this critical role, you will be part of a dynamic team that handles inbound, outbound, and email responses related to shareholder communications. Your primary focus will be on a contested proxy meeting, where you will engage with shareholders, address their concerns, and provide them with accurate information to make informed decisions. Key Responsibilities Engage with shareholders through inbound and outbound calls, as well as email responses, to address their questions and concerns regarding the contested proxy meeting. Clearly communicate the message that the information provided by the opposing side is not accurate and that our clients are working in the best interest of the shareholders. Direct shareholders on where and how they can cast their votes, ensuring they have the necessary information to participate in the decision-making process. Utilize your excellent communication skills to build trust with shareholders, providing them with a sense of security and confidence in our clients' leadership. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on the campaign's progress, the clients' objectives, and any changes in the messaging strategy. Collaborate with the team to achieve campaign goals, sharing best practices and insights to continuously improve our service delivery. Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED is required, demonstrating your foundational education and ability to understand and apply knowledge in a professional setting. At least 6 months of experience in customer service, data entry, or a related field, showcasing your ability to interact with clients, manage data, and work in a fast-paced environment. A good speaking voice is crucial, as you will be the voice of our clients, communicating their message to shareholders. Your tone, pitch, and clarity will significantly impact the success of our campaigns. Strong English speaking and grammar correction skills are necessary to ensure that all communications, whether verbal or written, are professional, accurate, and free of errors. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge in this role: Prior experience in a similar industry or role, particularly in shareholder communications or proxy campaigns, would be highly beneficial. Familiarity with Windows operating systems (10 or 11) and the ability to navigate dual monitors efficiently will enhance your productivity and performance. Experience with customer service software or platforms will be an asset, as you will be working with various tools to manage interactions and data. Equipment Requirements To perform this role effectively, you will need the following equipment: A Windows-based computer (10 or 11), as our systems and software are compatible with these operating systems. A USB headset, as wireless headsets are not compatible with our technology. This will ensure high-quality audio and minimize disruptions during calls. Dual monitors are beneficial but not required. If you have them, you will be able to multitask more efficiently, accessing multiple screens and tools simultaneously. A reliable internet connection with a minimum download speed of 50 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps. This will ensure that you can participate in video meetings, access cloud-based tools, and perform your duties without interruptions.
