We are now seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Entry Clerk to join our team, working fully remotely from the United States. Job Overview As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our customer data. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive hourly salary of $25.50 to $35.00, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong background in Excel, Word, and Outlook, and a passion for delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include: Keying driver payments upon receipt of notification from the payroll department Entering all adjustments needed to maintain proper customer balance Checking printed edits to ensure payment batches balance and ensuring proper credits to customer accounts Confirming batches are logged, dated, and filed in the proper place and date order Maintaining a complete and accurate computer-printed customer list Keying changes in customer status, such as charge to cash, cash to charge, address change, and minor changes Following up on the cash receipt log to ensure accuracy and distribution to proper personnel Checking to see that all keying is completed within 24 hours after receipt of all documents Logging the A/R Daily Proof Book with totals from the A/R transaction ledger and routing collections Performing and assisting in other duties as deemed necessary by the Credit Manager Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Experience in data entry, preferably in a similar industry or role Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or customer service Knowledge of accounting principles and practices Experience with data entry software and systems Certification in data entry or a related field Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
