As a Patient Care Advocate, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service to our members, providers, physicians, and internal and external clients related to pharmacy benefits. As a Patient Care Advocate, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our members, providers, and physicians to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls from members, providers, and physicians, responding to questions and concerns related to pharmacy benefits. Research and resolve problems in a timely manner, utilizing our computerized system to gather information and respond to inquiries. Assist members in understanding and maximizing the use of their pharmacy distribution program, ensuring they receive the support they need. Document issues and resolutions in a common database, maintaining accurate and complete records of all inquiries. Escalate issues as necessary, identifying and addressing concerns received from patients and/or clients in a prudent and timely manner. Collaborate with other operational departments to research and resolve mail order and claims issues, responding to members within performance agreement guidelines. Maintain good housekeeping techniques, adhering to quality and production standards while complying with all applicable company, state, and federal safety regulations. Perform other duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Essential Qualifications Experience 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service environment (preferred). 1 year of experience in customer service, with a focus on resolving complex issues and providing exceptional support (preferred). Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with members, providers, and physicians. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues. Proficient in using computerized systems to gather information and respond to inquiries. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining productivity standards and performance guarantees. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document issues and resolutions. Ability to escalate issues in a prudent and timely manner, ensuring corrective action is pursued and expedited.
