Key Responsibilities As a Technical Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include: Providing specialized help for network framework and inward work area frameworks programming and equipment Introducing, arranging, and investigating work area frameworks, workstations, servers, and organization issues Maintaining passwords, information honesty, and record framework security Offering technical support to PC framework clients and resolving issues face-to-face, via phone, or from a distant area Assisting with the utilization of PC equipment and programming, including printing, establishment, venture frameworks (SPLUS, ETPS2, and E2K, etc.), email, and working frameworks Core Duties: Responding to client care demands and determining the technical assistance issue (i.e., programming or equipment related) Communicating with clients by telephone to discuss identified issues or concerns and resolve the issues (for example, equipment or programming breakdown, client mistake, etc.) Investigating identified issues by gathering information, researching web data sites, and utilizing internal resources (i.e., project notebook) to identify solutions and facilitate resolution Conducting site visits within the designated area to investigate issues and/or introduce or update equipment and software if help issues cannot be resolved remotely Following up with clients to confirm issues were settled totally Completing service orders to avoid functional delays in settling issues Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Ability to impart highly technical information to both technical and non-technical clients Knowledge of Microsoft Working Frameworks (client/server) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cisco VPN, Citrix, Apparition, Symantec, Distant Work area Applications, Dynamic Catalog, and various Internet browsers Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently in a remote setting Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At UPS, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
