Key Responsibilities As a Technical Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include: Providing specialized help for network framework and desktop systems software and hardware Introducing, arranging, and investigating desktop systems, workstations, servers, and network issues Maintaining passwords, data integrity, and record framework security Providing technical support to PC system clients and answering questions or resolving PC issues for clients face-to-face, via phone, or from a remote area Assisting with the utilization of PC equipment and software, including printing, installation, venture frameworks (SPLUS, ETPS2, and E2K, etc.), email, and working frameworks Core Responsibilities In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, you will also be expected to: Answer client care demands and determine the technical assistance issue (i.e., software or hardware-related) and maintain trust in TSG Communicate with clients by telephone to discuss identified issues or concerns and resolve the issues (for example, equipment or software breakdown, client mistake, etc.) Investigate identified issues by getting clarification on some things, researching web data sites, and also inner site (i.e., project notebook) to identify solutions and work with goal Conduct site visits within the region to investigate issues as well as introduce or update equipment and software if help issues cannot be somewhat settled Conduct follow-up with clients to confirm issues were settled totally Finish service orders to stay away from functional delays in settling issues Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Essential Qualifications Ability to impart highly technical information to both technical and non-technical clients Knowledge of Microsoft Working Frameworks (client/server) Preferred Qualifications Experience with Cisco VPN, Citrix, Apparition, Symantec, Distant Work area Applications, Dynamic Catalog, and different Internet browsers Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Strong customer service skills and a customer-centric approach Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At UPS, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
