The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in a relevant field such as Geography, Earth Science, or Data Science, combined with relevant work experience in GIS. Key Responsibilities Utilize proficiency in Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online, to create, edit, manage, and publish GIS feature data in both geodatabase environments and on the cloud. Apply cartographic design skills to develop visually appealing and informative maps and other geospatial products. Employ working knowledge of geospatial analysis methods and ESRI GIS applications development to support project requirements. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook, to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Provide data entry support to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of geospatial data, adhering to established standards and protocols. Collaborate with the GIS team to identify and resolve data quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed. Essential Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Geography, Earth Science, Data Science, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in GIS, or qualifying professional experience that may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis, up to a maximum of four years. Strong proficiency in Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online, as well as experience with cartographic design and geospatial analysis methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Avenza MAPublisher, with experience in using these tools to support GIS applications and data visualization. Familiarity with Arcade and/or JavaScript programming for GIS applications and API's integration, with the ability to apply this knowledge to automate tasks and improve data entry efficiency. Qualifying graduate-level coursework in GIS, which may substitute for the work experience requirement on a year-for-year basis, up to a maximum of two years.
