As a Health Assistant/Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in delivering interventions, driving better client outcomes, and making a lasting impact on the lives of our members. **A Day in the Life...** As a Health Assistant/Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of members, each with unique needs and challenges. Your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including: * Delivering interventions to support members in navigating the complex healthcare system * Influencing members' decisions and behavior by making them smarter consumers of healthcare, translating their benefit packages and care plans, and helping them find doctors and access the right clinical resources * Leverage technology and internal resources to help understand members' paths, actions needed, and next steps * Drive better client outcomes by assisting with improved financial outcomes, helping members avoid inappropriate healthcare usage and process errors, and optimizing their benefit packages and third-party vendors * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery of services **Key Responsibilities:** * Deliver high-quality customer service to members via phone and digital messaging * Provide education and support to members on their health benefits and care plans * Identify and address barriers that prevent members from accessing necessary care * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery of services * Leverage technology and internal resources to drive better client outcomes * Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices **Qualifications:** * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a service-based environment, with a Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of relevant experience * Relevant background experience can include, but is not limited to: + Insurance setting + Telephonic customer service + Medical office + Health Plan + Social services + Behavioral health + Counseling + Healthcare coordination + Pharmacy tech + Benefits specialist + Health coach + Case management + Exercise and health education * Highly agile and comfortable in a high-paced, innovative, technology-driven environment * Knowledge of consumer health plans and terminology * Understanding of how patients use and access healthcare * Ability to thrive in a performance-based environment * Demonstrate high levels of personal accountability, empathy, and critical thinking * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong self-management and self-starter skills * Ability to listen, talk, and type all at once through multi-channel communications * Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint) * Strong attention to detail and time management skills **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work with a leading provider of personalized health and benefits solutions * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Ongoing training and professional development opportunities * Flexible remote work arrangement * Access to cutting-edge technology and tools * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **Our Culture:** At blithequark, we're passionate about creating an enduring company that is hyper-focused on our culture and making a meaningful impact in the lives of our employees, members, and customers.
