Key Responsibilities Handle and resolve up to 60 calls daily in a fast-paced call center environment, ensuring prompt and courteous service to patients, affiliate partners, payers, and healthcare providers. Communicate directly with patients, addressing their concerns, and providing guidance on payment options, medical bills, and patient financial responsibilities. Collect payments, update patient accounts with new or corrected information, and request itemized statements as needed. Explain medical bills, clarify patient financial responsibilities, including deductibles and copays, and provide support to patients navigating the healthcare system. Collaborate with internal teams, including healthcare providers, billing specialists, and patient advocates, to ensure seamless communication and resolution of patient concerns. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience, with a preference for 2 years in medical billing and direct patient contact in a call center environment. Technical proficiency in relevant systems and software, including electronic health records, billing systems, and customer relationship management tools. Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
