Job Overview In this critical role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients' members, addressing their healthcare-related inquiries, concerns, and issues via inbound phone calls. Key Responsibilities: Answer inbound phone calls from clients' members regarding healthcare benefits, providing clear and concise information, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Gather customer information, assess their needs, and educate them on available benefits, services, and resources. Utilize one-call resolution guidelines to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring that members receive timely and satisfactory support. Handle a high volume of incoming calls, maintaining a high level of productivity, and meeting performance metrics and quality standards. Collaborate with internal teams, such as claims, billing, and clinical services, to resolve complex issues and provide seamless support to our members. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, skills, and experience that demonstrate your ability to provide exceptional customer service and support in a healthcare setting. The following requirements are essential: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Healthcare background experience is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare benefits. Demonstrated passion for excellence in treating and caring for customers, particularly senior citizens, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Strong decision-making and analytical abilities, with the capacity to identify customer needs and articulate products and services effectively. Schedule flexibility to include weekends, evenings, possible holidays, and occasional overtime, with a willingness to adapt to changing business needs. A dedicated area to work from, free from distractions and background noises, with a reliable internet connection that meets the minimum speed requirements of 50 Mb/s for download speeds and 10 Mb/s for upload speeds (wireless access is not permitted). A Standard Connect and Speed Wired Ethernet connection with a minimum of 50 Mb/s download and 10 Mb/s upload (wireless is not permitted). Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting. Strong knowledge of healthcare benefits, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in using computer systems, software applications, and technology to support customer service operations.
