About the Job and Group The arenaflex HR Group is seeking a Manager, HR Business Partner to join our team in Los Angeles or New York City. The Manager, HRBP will sit at the intersection of HR and the business, working closely with our Programming and Product groups within the Trade, Development, and Character organization. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for driving business growth, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business, building strong and effective working relationships with internal partners and clients. Proactively assess business and organizational performance, providing recommendations and driving action through a consultative approach. Mentor leaders on HR policies, processes, and management issues, including talent planning, learning and development, employee engagement, and performance management. Think creatively and pursue innovative approaches to our work, demonstrating flexibility, agility, transparency, and global thinking. Respond to leaders and employees with a sense of urgency and timely resolution. Analyze HR data and trends, presenting findings in a clear and compelling manner that informs business decisions. Provide guidance on headcount/resource management and collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Compensation partners to ensure a effective recruitment and hiring process. Utilize understanding of individual and organizational dynamics to facilitate onboarding, talent management, internal mobility, and overall team development. Collaborate with DEI functional teams and employee resource groups to implement and measure the impact of key inclusion initiatives. Evaluate talent capabilities and development needs based on business strategy, working with Learning functional partners to create and deliver development experiences that address gaps between current and future capabilities. Lead organization design projects to streamline and implement new structures, roles, and/or processes that drive speed and efficiency and support rapidly changing business demands. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within a tech organization working with software or product groups. Experience working with senior leaders in an "influence without authority" role. Ability to perform with a "focus in" mindset, equally proficient at thinking strategically and operating tactically. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage ambiguity, navigating issues that don't always have a process or framework in place, and potentially with conflicting needs or perspectives. Strong business acumen with a sharp ability to process new information quickly. Demonstrated ability to influence and partner within a diverse organization to drive business results. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to rapidly interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions. Independent work style, balancing the need for collaboration with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not required, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, ideally in Business, HR Management, Psychology, or a related field. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on innovation and growth. Knowledge of HR systems, tools, and technologies, including HRIS, performance management software, and talent development platforms. Certification in HR, such as SHRM-CP or PHR, or a related field.
