Experienced Infusion Collection Specialist - Remote Opportunity for Driven Professionals in Medical Accounts Receivable

About the Role The Infusion Collection Specialist will play a critical role in our team, responsible for a broad range of collection processes related to medical accounts receivable in support of multiple site locations. As a key member of our team, you will proactively work assigned accounts to maximize accurate and timely payment. Key Responsibilities Research all balances on the accounts receivable and take necessary collection actions to resolve in a timely manner Research assigned correspondence and take necessary action to resolve requests Routinely review and work correspondence folder requests in a timely manner Make routine collection calls on outstanding claims Identify billing errors, short payments, unpaid claims, cash application issues, and resolve accordingly Ability to identify potential risk, write-offs, and status appropriately, and report and escalate to management as identified Research refund requests received by payers and status refund according to findings Document detailed notes in a clear and concise fashion in our company software system Identify issues/trends and escalate to Manager when assistance is needed Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local governments, third-party contracts, and company policies Must be able to communicate well with branch, management, patients, and insurance carriers Ability to perform account analysis when needed Answering phones/taking patient calls regarding balance questions Using portals and other electronic tools Ensure claims are on file after initial submission Identify, escalate, and prepare potential payor projects to management and company Liaisons Write detailed appeals with supporting documentation Keep abreast of payor follow-up/appeal deadlines Submit secondary claims Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas, including: 1-3 years or more of strong collections experience Previous Home Infusion and Specialty Pharmacy experience highly preferred Knowledge of HCPC coding and medical terminology CPR+ systems experience preferred Excellent math and writing skills Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and multitask Word, Excel, and Outlook experience High School Diploma or GED What We Offer In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including: Competitive wages 401(k) with a match Referral bonus Great company culture Paid parental leave options No weekends or holidays Affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance plans Company-paid disability and basic life insurance HSA and FSA (including dependent care) options Paid time off Education assistant program Career Growth and Development Our Culture and Values We are proud of our innovative and dynamic culture, which is built on our core values of: Improving patients' lives every day Being passionate in everything we do Encouraging unlimited ideas and creative thinking Making decisions as if you own the company Doing the right thing Having fun Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and recognize that establishing and maintaining a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace is the foundation of business success and innovation.
