Key Responsibilities Communicate with prospective and existing customers to nurture and prepare them for energy product purchases or fulfillment of existing orders Respond to inbound requests and provide resolutions to customer inquiries, leveraging multiple forms of communication to facilitate project progression Collaborate with internal Tesla teams to secure information and relay it to customers as needed Influence customer purchases by educating them on the benefits and advantages of Tesla's energy products and company mission Achieve personal and group monthly metric targets, driving high-volume pipeline activity to meet or exceed sales objectives Maximize productivity by optimizing phone time, pre-call planning, and call structure control for inquiry qualification and objection handling Provide feedback and recommendations on communication efforts based on direct experiences with potential clients Participate in company meetings and customer events, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices Master industry trends and best practices, including utilization of new technology and web resources Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals in a quota-driven environment Strong relationship management skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and energetic phone presence Proficient in standard corporate productivity tools, including email, voicemail, MS Office, and customer relationship management software At least one year of full sales life cycle or project management experience, with business-to-consumer experience a plus A Home Improvement Salesperson license through the California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB) or the ability to obtain one Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus: Experience in the energy or solar industry Familiarity with Tesla's energy products and mission A background in business-to-consumer sales or marketing Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Strong sales and communication skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team A customer-centric approach, with a focus on providing exceptional customer experiences A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes A passion for sustainable energy and Tesla's mission Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits As a Tesla employee, you will have access to: Ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth A collaborative and dynamic work environment that encourages innovation and creativity Work Environment and Company Culture Tesla is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment that values: Creativity and innovation Collaboration and teamwork Customer-centricity and exceptional customer experiences Sustainability and social responsibility As a remote worker, you will be part of a distributed team that is passionate about making a difference.
