Key Responsibilities Contact policyholders to review and update policies, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are adequately protected against risks. Provide quotes, policy changes, and coverage information to customers, utilizing your knowledge of insurance products and services to make informed recommendations. Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, email, and direct mail, documenting all interactions and activities in our EPIC system. Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms, and act as a liaison between customers and insurance companies. Process changes to policies, submit requests to insurance companies, and follow up to ensure timely processing. Review policy information, reference company-specific claims procedures, and assist customers in filing claims. Recognize cross-sell opportunities and obtain quote information to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment. Property and Casualty insurance license required, with a Membership license preferred or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment. Strong knowledge of insurance industry principles, practices, and products, with the ability to apply this knowledge to real-world scenarios. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in EPIC or similar systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a remote or work-from-home environment, with a proven track record of success in this setting. Advanced knowledge of insurance products and services, including policy changes, coverage options, and state laws. Experience with cross-selling and upselling, with a focus on driving business growth and customer satisfaction. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box. Proficiency in multiple software applications, including Microsoft Office and other industry-specific tools.
