In addition to a competitive compensation package, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: * Comprehensive Health benefits package, including Paid Time Off (accruals begin on your first day of employment), 401(k) plan with a company match, Medical, Dental, Prescription, and Vision Coverage, Tuition Reimbursement, Life Insurance, and Flexible Spending Accounts * Nearly 4 weeks of paid time off accrued during the first year * Paid time off to volunteer * Tuition reimbursement * 401(K) plan with company match up to 7% * Free blithequark Premier Battery Membership **What You Will Be Doing** As an Experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for: * Contacting policyholders from our existing book of business through inbound/outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal * Reviewing and updating policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of the consumer * Counseling policyholders concerning appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws that will best meet their needs for sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance * Making appropriate recommendations and/or changes to the policy and gaining policyholder acceptance to process the changes * Receiving and responding to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity (changes to policy, coverage options, recommendations, and cross-selling) in EPIC * Utilizing knowledge of the insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service * Providing quotes on endorsements as requested * Identifying opportunities to apply discounts, processing insurance verification forms for insured, and acting as liaison for information exchange between customer and insurance companies * Processing changes to policies within EPIC and submitting changes to specific companies, following up with the company to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner * Reviewing policy information and referencing company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims * Mailing insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from member/customer * Recognizing cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtaining quote information * Other duties as assigned **What We Need from You** To be successful in this role, you will need: * High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment * Property and Casualty insurance license required * Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment **Why Work from Home with blithequark?** As a work-from-home employee of blithequark, you will enjoy the flexibility and convenience of working from the comfort of your own home.
