As an IT Operational Service Readiness Analyst at Workwarp, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's IT strategy and contributing to the success of its clients. Job Overview and Responsibilities In this exciting role, you will be responsible for ensuring the readiness of IT operational services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, and implementing best practices to enhance service delivery. Your key responsibilities will include: Installing, tuning, upgrading, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer systems and applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability Developing and implementing techniques to prevent system problems, conducting impact assessments, and introducing relevant best practices to enhance the IT operational service readiness framework Automating installation and configuration of applications in various environments to improve efficiency and reduce downtime Evaluating new systems through in-depth testing and research to support recommendations and inform IT strategy Collaborating with stakeholders to identify business requirements and developing solutions to meet those needs Providing excellent customer service, responding to queries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in software, hardware, and/or systems engineering ITIL Foundations v3 certification within 180 days (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and excellent written and verbal communication skills A strong focus on customer service and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment In addition to these essential qualifications, you will need to demonstrate a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders A strong understanding of IT operational service readiness principles and best practices The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously Preferred Qualifications and Experience While not essential, the following qualifications and experience will be highly regarded: Experience with programming languages and web-based technologies Knowledge of project management methodologies and change management best practices Previous involvement in IT operational service readiness initiatives Ability to collaborate effectively across teams to solve technical problems Participation in professional societies or continuous education workshops Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
