Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team, providing remote data entry and technical assistance to our crewmembers. As a key member of our IT crew, you will be responsible for delivering professional and convenient first and second-level support, resolving technical issues, and ensuring timely resolution of requests. Key Responsibilities Provide support for all arenaflex equipment and applications, including communication and mobile devices Deliver excellent on-site and remote customer service to arenaflex crewmembers Coordinate resolution of incidents/requests from start to finish with internal and external resources Monitor and support systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime Maintain and support client access, ensuring seamless connectivity and productivity Collaborate with software package rollouts and support, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and innovations Work closely with all Data Innovation (IT) disciplines, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing Aim to achieve first-contact resolution with all issues, ensuring prompt and effective support Maintain documentation of requests per arenaflex standards, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping Update and maintain database documentation with the most critical information, ensuring data integrity and accessibility Coordinate response for significant incidents and outages, ensuring minimal disruption to operations Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate Experience supporting the latest operating systems or successful completion of IT for Everybody certification via Coursera Experience implementing and supporting applications, with a strong understanding of software packages and technical troubleshooting Availability for short-term travel (up to 50%), with a valid passport and the ability to travel throughout Jamaica and the US Ability to obtain a valid visa to travel to the US, with a strong understanding of immigration requirements and regulations Experience using desktop configuration packages, with a strong foundation in IT principles and practices Legally qualified to work in the country where the position is located, with a strong understanding of local employment laws and regulations Preferred Skills and Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable: Certifications (Microsoft, Networking, programming languages), demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development Knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server products, with a strong understanding of Microsoft technologies and applications Knowledge of Exchange and Office Suite, with a strong foundation in email management and productivity software Knowledge of LAN environment using TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, with a strong understanding of network protocols and architecture Knowledge of communication, messaging, and system (VOIP and POTS), with a strong foundation in telecommunications and collaboration tools Knowledge of mobile devices, with a strong understanding of mobile technologies and applications Knowledge of MDM solutions like Workspace ONE and Microsoft Intune, with a strong foundation in mobile device management and security Knowledge of multimedia solutions, with a strong understanding of audio-visual technologies and applications Crewmember Expectations As a valued member of the arenaflex team, you will be expected to: Demonstrate regular attendance and reliability, with a strong commitment to your role and responsibilities Be available to work flexible hours and be on call to respond to issues without prior notice, ensuring prompt and effective support Maintain a professional appearance, reflecting the values and standards of arenaflex Participate in light cleaning of the aircraft while working or traveling on arenaflex flights, contributing to a safe and clean environment Embody the arenaflex values of Safety, Caring, Honesty, Energy, and Fun, demonstrating a strong commitment to our culture and principles Advance arenaflex's number one value of safety as a Safety Representative, supporting our Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy, and social norms Identify safety or security concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards that should be reported and report them promptly and directly, using arenaflex's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP), JEMS, or Safety Action Report (SAR)) Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our crewmembers.
