Introduction to the Role We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our National Retail Sales Organization, specifically on the arenaflex Target Team. As a Customer Account Manager for Retail Sales, you will contribute to the success of arenaflex by executing a selling strategy in assigned retail accounts. This role is heavily focused on the Warehouse distributed businesses at Target, including the Mainstream Chilled, Premium Nutrition, and Gatorade/Propel portfolios. You will be responsible for leading key customer relationships within the Chilled Beverage category and developing strategic account plans to create sales proposals that yield profitable account development and deliver against brand performance targets. Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: Delivering against Net Revenue, Variable Gross Profit, and Share targets by utilizing fact-based selling methods Cultivating strong relationships with customer contacts Activating local, regional, and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance, with a strong focus on Innovation Participating in key Customer Planning events, including Discovery, Beverage Immersion, and other relevant meetings Partnering with Leadership, Finance, and the Customer to develop Joint Business Plans in line with internal AOP Working closely with the arenaflex Warehouse Operations teams to improve overall customer and Guest satisfaction Effectively engaging with Brand and Marketing Teams to drive business growth Leading the promo funding process for assigned brands/categories Analyzing business trends to develop a business growth strategy Owning Prosper Sales Planners for Warehouse Beverage Businesses Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: Basic Job Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree preferred Two to Five Years of fact-based direct selling experience Must be authorized to work in the United States Preferred Job Qualifications: Consumer packaged goods experience Strong organizational and selling skills Customer Relationship building experience and history Financial literacy / strong analytical skills The ability to work well in a team environment The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and meet multiple deadlines The ability to effectively learn and understand information and data systems Self-motivation and the ability to work independently Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills are required Syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen) skills are a plus What We Offer At arenaflex, we offer a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and a dynamic work environment that encourages growth and development.
