About the Role: Learning Designer for Amazon Entertainment Talent Experience We're seeking an experienced Learning Designer to join our Entertainment PXT Talent Experience Team, where you'll play a critical role in developing and delivering learning experiences that enlighten, educate, and inspire our entertainment leaders. As a seasoned learning and development professional, you'll leverage your expertise in instructional design, learning theory, and instructional technologies to create best-in-class solutions that captivate our customers' attention, promote a friction-less experience, and integrate seamlessly into a learner's ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement learning solutions to create meaningful employee growth experiences for the Amazon Entertainment businesses, utilizing your expertise in learning theory and instructional technologies. Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and initiatives, and use customer feedback to continuously improve the quality and impact of our L&D solutions. Build development experiences with a global mindset, identifying opportunities for innovative and creative approaches to learning and development. Implement talent programs for talent with a wide variety of expertise, from business to technology to creative content, ensuring that our learning solutions meet the diverse needs of our entertainment leaders. Collaborate with senior leaders and subject matter experts to design and develop delivery mechanisms that drive adoption of our solutions, leveraging your consultative skillset to partner effectively with stakeholders. Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you'll need: 6+ years of design experience, with a shareable portfolio that showcases your expertise in instructional design and learning development. Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements, with a strong understanding of how to measure the effectiveness of learning programs. A strong degree of ownership and results orientation, with the ability to collect, analyze, and report on data to ensure our learning solutions exceed a continuously rising quality bar. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in the entertainment industry or a related field, with a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges of our entertainment businesses. Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design models, and learning technologies, with the ability to apply this knowledge to create innovative and effective learning solutions. Experience with project management tools and methodologies, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Project management: The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines, with a strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits: Our compensation package is competitive, with a range of benefits and perks available, including: Base salary: A competitive base salary, with a range of $113,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $187,300/year in our highest geographic market.
