As a manufacturing engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company's products are designed and built to meet the required specifications, quality, and reliability standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product management, and operations, to identify and address potential manufacturing issues early in the development stage. Job Responsibilities As a manufacturing engineer at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include: Designing, developing, and managing the implementation of flexible manufacturing processes and systems for specific data center products, with a focus on cost, quality, and flexibility Collaborating with design, product management, and operations teams to identify and address potential manufacturing issues early in the development stage Analyzing and interpreting complex production data to drive informed manufacturing strategies and identify opportunities for improvement Leading the assessment, qualification, and strategic development of contract manufacturers, with a focus on future capabilities and growth Utilizing product data management (PDM) systems to create bills of materials (BOM), approved vendor lists (AVL), and manage engineering change notices/requests (ECN/O) Leading the product lifecycle management (PLM) team to align design and BOM structures Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, reliability, or product design, with a focus on data center equipment or similar products 6 years of experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) and 5 years of experience in design and implementation of civil high-voltage applications in data center construction Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including lean manufacturing, 5S, and 8D practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications Preferred qualifications for this role include: A graduate degree in science or a related field Experience leading yield improvements and process duration reductions for high-volume and high-complexity parts Experience with LEAN manufacturing practices and 5S/8D methodologies Experience in charging data centers Ability to influence product electrical design and manufacturing processes Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
