We are now seeking an experienced Manufacturing Production Associate to join our team and contribute to our continued success. About the Role As a Manufacturing Production Associate, you will play a critical role in our production operations, working with a range of CNC and manual equipment to fabricate high-quality steel products. You will be responsible for operating equipment, interpreting blueprints, tracking jobs, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and clean working environment. You will also be expected to assist in other departments as required, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing production needs. Key Responsibilities Operate CNC and manual equipment, including Portable Pneumatic Punch, to fabricate steel products to exacting specifications Read and interpret basic blueprints and work orders to ensure accurate production Complete daily tracking of jobs, maintaining accurate records and reporting any issues or concerns Maintain equipment and ensure the work area is clean and safe at all times, adhering to safety protocols and procedures Perform basic preventative maintenance on assigned equipment, identifying and reporting any maintenance needs Meet daily production goals, working efficiently and effectively to achieve production targets Operate forklift and other material handling equipment as required Assist in other departments as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and qualifications, including: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, with strong communication and comprehension skills Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals, to accurately interpret measurements and calculations Knowledge of trade tools, equipment, materials, and techniques used in metal working operations, including tape measure, calipers, and micrometers Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Standards and our Quality Management system Ability to effectively and safely operate a variety of assigned tools and equipment, including CNC and manual equipment Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet schedules and timelines Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications and experience will be highly regarded: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, particularly in steel fabrication or a related industry CNC programming and operation experience, with knowledge of CNC equipment and software Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and report maintenance needs Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong attention to detail and quality focus, with a commitment to delivering high-quality products Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing production needs and priorities Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and report issues or concerns Commitment to safety and quality, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Action Group Inc., we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our employees.
