As a contract Medical Data Entry Specialist, you will play a mission-critical role in managing a significant backlog of administrative authorizations, ensuring seamless operations and efficient billing processes. Job Overview In this fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, processing, and managing medical and administrative documentation for a variety of patients. Your keen eye for detail and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of entered data. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with blithequark's leadership to prioritize and resolve backlog cases effectively, conduct quality checks, and maintain data integrity. Key Responsibilities Accurately input, process, and manage medical and administrative documentation for a variety of patients, ensuring consistency and compliance with established guidelines. Review, verify, and organize client documentation to ensure accuracy, proper formatting, and completeness. Collaborate with blithequark's leadership team to prioritize and resolve backlog cases effectively, providing periodic progress updates on the status of addressing the backlog. Conduct quality checks on entered data to ensure accuracy, proper formatting, and completeness, maintaining data integrity by spotting and correcting discrepancies or incomplete entries in a timely manner. Handle sensitive and confidential client information with a high degree of professionalism and adherence to compliance regulations, including HIPAA. Communicate effectively with team members to resolve issues or obtain missing information, supporting process improvement initiatives to enhance workflows and optimize data entry efficiency. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have: 2+ years of prior data entry experience, ideally in the healthcare field, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and administrative procedures. A comfort level working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment that requires an extreme level of attention to detail, with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes quickly. 8,000+ ksph data entry skills, with high accuracy and efficiency in entering data into various software systems. Experience working in a mission-driven organization is highly desired, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services and supporting the organization's goals and objectives. An Associate's degree in Business or a related field is preferred, but not required, with a strong foundation in administrative procedures, data entry, and customer service.
