As a key member of the Oracle SaaS Operations Engineering team, you will play a critical role in delivering strategic technical support and solutions to US Government agencies and contractors who subscribe to Oracle's SaaS Cloud Services on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform. Job Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing network communications and solutions within a fast-paced, leading-edge database/applications company. You will create and implement system enhancements to improve performance and reliability, manage load configurations, and coordinate terminal orders and cable installation. As a leading contributor, you will provide direction and mentoring to others, working independently and as part of a global team to deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities Deliver strategic technical support and solutions to US Government agencies and contractors who subscribe to Oracle's SaaS Cloud Services on the OCI platform Engage in operational activities, including monitoring, installation, patching, and upgrading Oracle Fusion applications/middleware and Oracle database implementations Address complex, critical customer system issues and document technical solutions Work collaboratively with global teams to achieve shared goals and objectives Provide direction and mentoring to junior team members Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, applying this knowledge to continuously improve processes and solutions Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: Relevant industry experience of 3+ years A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems Experience in at least one of the following: Weblogic Application Server Installation and Administration, Oracle Fusion Middleware Installation and Administration, Oracle RDBMS Installation and Administration (including RAC databases), Software Development, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Working knowledge of Linux/Unix, including commands and shell scripting Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C, C++, etc.) Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in middleware and/or database areas Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a global team without close supervision Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Oracle Fusion Application Installation and Administration experience SOA Suite administration (BPEL & WSM) experience Knowledge of Oracle Internet Directory (OID) & IDM administration Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate: Strong technical skills and knowledge of Oracle technologies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a global team Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Oracle, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
