Role Overview As a Tier 1 Intern at Brainwave, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our Chief Development Officer and other interns to support various departments within the company. This is an excellent opportunity for students who are looking for a lighter workload but still want to be part of a fast-paced and innovative environment. You will have the chance to develop your research skills, improve your communication abilities, and gain experience in data analysis, public speaking, and initiative-taking. Key Responsibilities Complete weekly assignments and projects as directed by department directors Attend a quota of meetings by the end of the session, as scheduled by the team Develop and maintain good communication with your director and other team members Conduct research and gather data to support various projects and initiatives Participate in public speaking engagements and presentations, as required Take initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to your work and responsibilities Ideal Candidate We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic high school or college students who are passionate about mental health and learning. The ideal candidate will have: Free availability to commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week Interest in research, data analysis, and public speaking Reliable communication skills and ability to work independently Strong initiative and ability to take on new challenges Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively Essential Qualifications Currently enrolled in high school or college Strong research skills and attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital tools and platforms Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in research, data analysis, or public speaking Knowledge of mental health and learning principles and practices Familiarity with digital tools and platforms, such as project management software and communication apps Strong organizational and time management skills Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: Communication skills: ability to communicate effectively and clearly with team members and directors Research skills: ability to conduct research and gather data to support projects and initiatives Initiative and problem-solving skills: ability to take initiative and approach problems in a proactive and creative way Time management and organization skills: ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks and responsibilities Collaboration and teamwork skills: ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Brainwave, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.
