Key Responsibilities: Connect directly with veterinary centers to coordinate prescription approvals, resolve client issues, and explain order requests. Analyze and troubleshoot issues to determine appropriate solutions for clients and facility partners, and follow up on a case-by-case basis to resolve issues. Complete data entry of prescriptions into blithequark's healthcare software. Maintain a high level of quality through data entry and order processing of veterinary pharmacy orders. Work with empathy, attention, patience, sympathy, and kindness to clients and partners alike. Communicate with veterinary facilities via phone (sometimes multiple lines depending on the situation) with various subjects, primarily using our internal program and systems to investigate solutions and record facility note accounts. Expect a significant portion of the business day to be outbound veterinary facility/client phone contacts. Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening). Ability to multitask (e.g., chat on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes). Work with ownership, be a self-starter, and pay attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook. High school education or equivalent. Ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy where applicable. Critical thinking skills. Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to change according to the business needs of the organization. Flexibility to adjust schedule and work overtime on a case-by-case basis as required by the specialty unit. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information. Must be able to pass a background check. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience in customer service or a related field. Knowledge of veterinary pharmacy operations and procedures. Experience with healthcare software and systems. Bilingual or multilingual skills.
