This is a unique opportunity to work remotely after an initial training period, supporting our customers during the overnight shift from 11pm to 7am. About the Role As an Overnight Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service, particularly in the processing and approval of consumer loans. Your responsibilities will include making payment arrangements, addressing customer inquiries, and acting as a liaison between our financial institution and our clients. The ideal candidate will be adept at analyzing loan applications, verifying information, and making informed decisions that align with our organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities and Duties Handle outbound and inbound calls with professionalism, addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and effective manner. Accurately document all relevant information pertaining to customer accounts, ensuring data integrity and compliance with our policies. Utilize basic business math skills to resolve problems and make calculations as necessary. Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to convey information and ideas to customers. Demonstrate sensitivity, tact, and professionalism in all interactions with customers, even in challenging situations. Follow written and verbal instructions carefully, adhering to laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Process card payments with accuracy, ensuring that transactions are handled correctly. Perform initial approvals of loan applicants by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems. Evaluate the eligibility of applicants for loans, making informed decisions based on their financial information and creditworthiness. Follow up with customers to clarify any important points or additional information required for their loan applications. Finalize loan details, ensuring that customers are fully informed about the terms, rules, and obligations associated with their loans. Stay updated on lending practices and other financial services to provide accurate and relevant information to customers. Create and maintain accurate records, ensuring that all customer information is up to date. Identify customer needs, exploring all available options to provide tailored solutions. Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, adapting quickly to changing needs and priorities. Multitask with ease, handling customer conversations while typing notes and updating records simultaneously. Meet or exceed monthly individual goals as set by management, demonstrating a commitment to achieving high performance standards. Required Skills and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: Excellent Customer Service Skills: A proven track record of providing high-quality customer service, handling customer complaints, and resolving issues in a professional manner. Working Conditions and Physical Demands This is a remote position that requires: The ability to sit for long periods, engaging in constant talking and listening. Working the 3rd shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Initial training will be conducted in person for one week, from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
