**Experienced Overnight Customer Service Representative – Remote 3rd Shift Loan Approval and Customer Support**

We're committed to fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork, and we're excited to welcome talented individuals like you to our team. **Responsibilities and Duties** As an Overnight Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: * Making outbound and receiving inbound calls to assist customers with their loan applications and other financial queries * Consistently and accurately documenting all information pertaining to accounts, including loan applications, payment arrangements, and customer interactions * Using basic business math to solve problems and make informed decisions * Communicating clearly, concisely, and effectively with customers, both verbally and in writing * Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when speaking to customers, even in tense or high-pressure situations * Following written and/or verbal instructions, as well as company policies and procedures * Processing card payments accurately and efficiently * Performing the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their loan applications through multiple software systems * Reviewing applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loans and making recommendations accordingly * Following up with customers to clarify important points and ensure they understand their loan obligations * Finalizing loan details and keeping customers informed about their loan rules and obligations * Staying up-to-date with lending and other financial services, including new products, policies, and procedures * Creating and renewing records, as needed * Identifying customer needs and exploring all available options to meet those needs * Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and adapting quickly to changing company needs * Multi-tasking by speaking with customers and typing notes simultaneously * Meeting monthly individual goals, as set by management **Required Skills** To succeed in this role, you will need: * Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional service to our customers * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues * The ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure, even in tense or high-pressure situations * Proficiency with technology, including computers, software applications, and phone systems * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use basic business math to solve problems **Preferred Education and/or Experience** While a minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required, we prefer candidates with: * A degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or communications * Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field * Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Experience with cloud-based storage and internet applications **Technical Skills** In addition to the skills listed above, you will need to be proficient in: * MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Cloud-based storage and internet applications * Phone systems and software applications **Working Conditions / Physical Demands** As a remote Overnight Customer Service Representative, you will need to be able to: * Sit for long periods of time, talking and listening constantly * Work in a quiet, distraction-free environment * Adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and changing company needs * Meet the physical demands of sitting for extended periods, with occasional standing and walking **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
