Job Summary As an Overnight Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will undertake an intermediary role between potential clients and our financial institution. Your primary goal will be to help qualified applicants obtain loans in a timely manner while ensuring that our organization's credibility is protected. You will be responsible for performing approvals of consumer loans, making payment arrangements, and assisting customers with any questions or concerns they may have. Key Responsibilities Make outbound and receive inbound calls to customers, providing exceptional service and support. Consistently and accurately document all information pertaining to accounts, ensuring that records are up-to-date and easily accessible. Use basic business math to solve problems and make informed decisions. Speak clearly, concisely, and effectively, listening to and understanding information and ideas as presented verbally. Maintain a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism when speaking to customers, even in challenging situations. Follow written and/or verbal instructions, adhering to laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Process card payments accurately, ensuring that all transactions are secure and efficient. Perform the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems. Review applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loans, making informed decisions that align with our organization's policies and procedures. Follow up with customers to clarify important points, ensuring that they are fully informed and satisfied with our services. Finalize loan details and keep customers informed of rules and obligations, providing exceptional support and guidance throughout the loan process. Remain up-to-speed regarding lending and other financial services, staying informed about industry trends and developments. Create and renew records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information about our customers and their accounts. Identify customer needs, exploring all options available to customers and providing personalized solutions and support. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure. You should be proficient with technology, especially computers, software applications, and phone systems, and have a strong understanding of basic business math concepts. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required, and preferred candidates will have experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Preferred Education and/or Experience While a minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required, preferred candidates will have a strong educational background and relevant experience in customer service, loan support, or a related field. Experience working in a financial institution or a similar industry is highly desirable, and candidates with a proven track record of success in a customer-facing role will be given priority consideration. Technical Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to be proficient in the use of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. You should also be comfortable using the internet and cloud-based storage systems, and have a strong understanding of software applications and phone systems. Experience with loan management software and other financial systems is highly desirable, and candidates with a strong technical skillset will be given priority consideration. Working Conditions and Physical Demands This role will require you to work remotely on the 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am, with the exception of the initial 1-week training period, which will be conducted from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. You will need to be able to sit for long periods of time, talking and listening constantly, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and prioritize tasks is essential, and candidates who are self-motivated and disciplined will thrive in this role.
