Your Day as a Customer Service Associate As a Customer Service Associate in Tool Rental, you will be the face of blithequark, welcoming customers and providing exceptional support to help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. Your day will be filled with interacting with customers, answering questions, and organizing merchandise to ensure a seamless shopping experience. You may also be required to load merchandise, process orders, and deliver friendly and professional customer service. Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Associate, your key responsibilities will include: Welcome customers to blithequark and deliver exceptional customer service Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise Down stock merchandise and replenish supplies as needed Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure timely receipt of merchandise Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to deliver the best customer service Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs Guide customers through shopping or checkout Complete other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets Basic arithmetic skills, including addition and subtraction Ability to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties Ability to lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience Bi-lingual skills Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials) Travel Requirements This role does not require regular travel; however, you may be required to travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.
