About the Role We are looking for a talented and empathetic Customer Service Representative who will apply the latest customer service techniques and learn our account management systems to deliver exceptional support to our clients during challenging times. This part-time position offers flexibility, with approximately 3-29 hours of work per week. You will have the opportunity to choose from two available shifts: Fridays from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM or Mondays from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, all in CST. As a remote position, you will work from the comfort of your home office, providing you with a better work-life balance. Duties and Responsibilities Customer Service and Claim Intake : Provide positive customer service and technical expertise through prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customer inquiries. Empathy and Support : Offer empathy and support to customers during the claim process, ensuring a compassionate and understanding approach. Claim Documentation : Collect and document all claim details provided by the customer into the claim system accurately. Issue Resolution : Identify and resolve customer issues by adhering to client-specific handling instructions and utilizing call scripting to ensure consistency and efficiency. Punctuality and Reliability : Remain available for extended hours or additional shifts during peak periods or emergency situations to provide critical support, and adhere to break and lunch schedules to maintain productivity and ensure consistent customer service coverage. Required Skills and Abilities To excel in this role, you will need: Language Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents such as police and accident reports, write routine correspondence and detailed accident descriptions, and project a confident, clear, and professional telephone presence. Bilingual Skills : Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required. Computer Skills : Knowledge of basic computer functions, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Education and Experience We require: High School Diploma or GED : A high school diploma or general education degree is essential for this role. Quality Assurance Experience : 1-2 years of quality assurance experience is preferred, but not required. Network Requirements To work remotely, you will need: Speed Test : A speed test must be run from the computer you will be working from (www.speedtest.net) upon hire. Ethernet Connection : An Ethernet connection is not required but strongly recommended. Private Network : You must be on a private network and not work in public locations.
