As a remote service technician, you will be part of a global team that shares our values and is dedicated to making a positive impact on our customers and the communities we serve. **Job Summary** As a Part-Time Customer Support Specialist - Remote Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers in the Fife Region. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the optimal performance of our soft drink fountain machines, troubleshooting issues, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, communication skills, and a customer-centric approach. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform mechanical services and light remanufacturing on soft drink fountain equipment according to blithequark's standards * Investigate and diagnose issues with fountain equipment * Maintain all refrigeration equipment in proper working condition * Move equipment to perform all mechanical services on fountain hardware, including preventative maintenance, software updates, and cosmetic repairs * Remain positive, work as a team player, and create exceptional customer service-oriented organizations * Collaborate with the service team to resolve customer complaints and issues * Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty **Essential Qualifications** * Secondary School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate * Valid driver's license * Technical aptitude to repair machines * Ability to lift 50 pounds * Adaptability to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed **Preferred Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field) * Previous experience in a customer-facing role or technical support environment * Familiarity with soft drink fountain equipment and maintenance procedures * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively **Skills and Competencies** * Technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong customer service skills and a customer-centric approach * Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment * Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
